A panoramic image of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the early morning with a full moon as it descends behind the horizon and the valleys are filled with clouds. The view is from an elevation of over 4000 feet on Eagles Nest Mountain near the village of Maggie Valley in Western North Carolina.

Photography has been an avocation my entire life. It became a vocation 25 plus years ago after selling my general insurance agency and retiring from the insurance industry. Both photographic and computer skills have been self taught. Specializing in nature, wildlife, landscape, marine, and historical subjects, most of my images are of the natural world. People and material objects appear only when they serve to provide additional meaning.
