Two baby Great Horned Owlets in a nest at the Felts Audubon Preserve in northern Manatee County, near the city of Palmetto on Florida's Gulf Coast.

Photography has been an avocation my entire life. It became a vocation 25 plus years ago after selling my general insurance agency and retiring from the insurance industry. Both photographic and computer skills have been self taught. Specializing in nature, wildlife, landscape, marine, and historical subjects, most of my images are of the natural world. People and material objects appear only when they serve to provide additional meaning.
