An old log barn along the road south of the village of Baileys Harbor on the Lake Michigan side of Door County, Wisconsin. Although it has been awhile since it has been a useful member of the farm, it still has a "touch of class" with it's live, bright and colorful, window flower box.

Photography has been an avocation my entire life. It became a vocation 25 plus years ago after selling my general insurance agency and retiring from the insurance industry. Both photographic and computer skills have been self taught. Specializing in nature, wildlife, landscape, marine, and historical subjects, most of my images are of the natural world. People and material objects appear only when they serve to provide additional meaning. Images are not intended to be documentary but are "Fine Art" made for the viewer to find personal meaning, to bring back memories, and to create dreams.
