A full moon shining on the Caribbean Sea and back-lighting the Northeast shore of an area known as Red Hook on the island of St. Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Photography has been an avocation my entire life. It became a vocation 25 plus years ago after selling my general insurance agency and retiring from the insurance industry. Both photographic and computer skills have been self taught. Specializing in nature, wildlife, landscape, marine, and historical subjects, most of my images are of the natural world. People and material objects appear only when they serve to provide additional meaning.
