The motor yacht "Illusion", a 36 foot Grand Banks trawler, anchored in the bay known as Sopers Hole at "The West End" of the Island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. As seen surrounded by palm fronds on shore, it is an image of tropical paradise.
Photography has been an avocation my entire life. It became a vocation 25 plus years ago after selling my general insurance agency and retiring from the insurance industry. Both photographic and computer skills have been self taught. Specializing in nature, wildlife, landscape, marine, and historical subjects, most of my images are of the natural world. People and material objects appear only when they serve to provide additional meaning.
