An unusual and rare combination of weather conditions cause a spectacular summer
sunset over the islands in the Braden River near Bradenton on the central gulf coast of Florida.

Photography has been an avocation my entire life. It became a vocation 25 plus years ago after selling my general insurance agency and retiring from the insurance industry. Both photographic and computer skills have been self taught. Specializing in nature, wildlife, landscape, marine, and historical subjects, most of my images are of the natural world. People and material objects appear only when they serve to provide additional meaning.
